     To Tony:

     However the comparison is between the current USP Microbial Limits,
     and not with the updated version that the subcommittee is preparing.
     As soon as the Subcommittee finishes the update and rewrite we will
     communicate them to the EP and JP to start the harmonization process
     for Microbial limits.

Please note everyone that Pharmeuropa Vol.10, No.3, September 1998 has an
excellent comparison of the JP. USP and Ph. Eur. Microbial Limit testing
methods as an aid to harmonization.
