Dear All,
According to the USP chapter <1111>,   for a  product containing  Mometastone, Gentamicin and Clotrimazole (three active constituents)   for an auricular use,  requires  testing for Staph.aureus and Pseudomonas only and testing for  Salmonella and E. coli testing does not require.  On the other hand,  Mometamax furoate ointment monograph requires testing for all four organisms. Is there any explanation for this?   How can you satisfy the requirements?
Many thanks
