Clint:

Here you apply rounding rules based on the significant figures you have at hand. For a 10 gram sample we can measure up to 10.4 grams and is considered 10 grams.

Subject: [PMFLIST] Acceptable sample weight range for USP <61> <62>

What is your labs acceptable range for USP <61> and <62> sample weight? By that
I mean, what is your acceptable range from the 10g requirement (ie, 10 g ±0.1 g,
10 g ±0.2 g, etc). I found an old thread in 2003 with a couple of responses
that addressed this, but I am interested in a bit more input and discussion.
How are you justifying this range?

Thanks,
Clint
