Have you sent the organism anywhere for fatty acid analysis? I could recommend a lab if you would like.

Hi all:

I wanted to know if anyone has seen a very, very long rod as part of their
water systems. It is a Gram negative organism but it is unusually long. In
addition, it typically comes unidentified via Vitek or Biolog. Any hints?
