Gayle,

We use R2A for filter cassettes, and R3A for isolation off of the cassettes.
From there, we gram stain and ID.

Regards,
Carolanne

Subject: [PMFLIST] question on media used for Water Bioburden testing

Hello everyone,
Last question for the week I hope:
What is everyone using for media to test their water? Are you using just
one type (R2A, HPC, or TSB) or are you using Mendo for coliform, R2A or
similar for total count and Cetrimide or something similar for Pseudomonas
species?

Thanks for your replies
