No, I've never used bronopol. And I didn't neutralize, just hoping the dilution was adequate. I'd like to know if there is a way to neutralize cosmocil (biguanides).

yes, I recently did a challenge test of gluconolactone/sodium benzoate,
but it was in a lotion. It did work well, decreasing counts to much less
than 90% in 7 days. I don't know how it would work with the fabric.

Have you done challenge testing using this preservative system.   We
would like to use in the wet wipes for but not sure how it will behave
with fabric.  If you have any data please share with us.

I am looking at some cosmetic preservatives and see gluconolactone and
sodium benzoate (Geogard): the mode of action is said to be 'hurdle
technology' where a more hostile environment is created. Can someone
