Dear Julie Barlasov,

Local drug inspector recommended to use bio-balls but it is cost effective, we have validated culture dilutions procedure.

Thanks & Regards,
RK Reddy.

RK Reddy,

I am not sure why you mentioning that usage of Bio balls is mandatory. The only requirement is that your inoculum will be < 100cfu

you also have to have reliable cultures, but it can be in-house preps, EZ-CFU from microbiologics, etc

Hope that helps

Dear Members,

Is usage of 'Bio balls' mandatory in method verifications & media growth promotion test?
Any guidelines mentioned about usage bio-balls as alternate to prepared culture suspensions?.

Thanks & Regards,
RK Reddy.
